Summary
The Menzies Home for Children came into being in 1961. It was formerly known as the Menzies Home for Boys and Girls. Around the same time as this name change, Menzies' model of care shifted towards family group homes in the Frankston area. The original building for the Menzies Home on Oliver's Hill was demolished in 1965. The organisation became known as Menzies Inc. in 2001.
