Summary
The Canadian Rescue and Children's Home was established in 1897, by the Ballarat Town and City Mission. It was located at 74 Clayton Street, Butts Hill, Canadian Gully (a district in Ballarat). In 1920 the Canadian Home amalgamated with another institution run by the Town and City Mission, the George Street Children's Home.
