Summary
Herbert Charles (Bert) Ludbrook was Superintendent of the Ballarat Orphanage from 1925 to 1949. During his tenure at the Orphanage, his wife worked as Matron. In June 1956, Ludbrook became the member of the Legislative Council for the seat of Ballarat.
